THE MANOR IS CURRENTLY OPEN FOR HOSTING LAVISH PRIVATE EVENTS INCLUDING WEDDINGS & RECEPTIONS, SOCIAL CELEBRATIONS, AS WELL AS CORPORATE FUNCTIONS, HOLIDAY PARTIES, FUNDRAISING EVENTS, AND MORE.
INFORMATION ABOUT REGULAR WEEKLY PUBLIC RESTAURANT DINING:
The Manor has discontinued service of our restaurant’s weekly buffet and a la carte restaurant. However, The Manor continues it long held tradition of hosting some of New Jersey’s most lavish private events including weddings and receptions, social celebrations, and corporate functions.
Why will The Manor no longer be offering regular weekly dining?
As The Manor continues to evolve over our 65-year-plus history as a restaurant and event venue, we strive to remain in touch with our customers, and be proactive in maintaining and furthering our reputation for exemplary quality, service, and refined cuisine. It has become an economic reality for us that to continue providing the extensive lavish buffet that is on par with our standards, without further increasing costs, is not sustainable. We refuse the alternative of accepting lower standards or providing a lesser quality of food or service to our friends and guests. As you may have noticed in recent years, we have increased the price of the buffet to keep up with major increases in food and labor costs, and still have absorbed much of the costs ourselves. But we have listened to our customers’ feedback and do not wish to further pass any costs on to our customers. We will not charge more and will not offer you less.
This was obviously a very difficult decision for us as we loved dearly offering this concept to our guests, but it was a decision that had to be made. Thus, with the goal of keeping The Manor’s standards high and being fair to our customers in pricing, we are returning our focus to the core of the business as it started, with a fine dining à la carte experience.
What we’ve come to learn over our half-century in business is that what our guests value most is the experience, the quality of our food, the service, and our way of doing things–not just any one particular format of dining. And with that knowledge, we’re continuing our tradition of dining at The Manor while also continuing our history of always evolving to meet the needs of our customers. It is solace for us too to know that we have many great customers who we can count on for supporting us as we make this change in focus. We thank all of you who have dined with us.
The popularity of The Dome Lounge at The Manor, which offers a more casual menu along with entertainment, has also steadily been growing in popularity with our guests, offering an additional dining option. (Wine tastings, live musical performances, and other individual food and entertainment experiences are also a part of The Manor’s offerings in The Dome. Stay tuned for our growing list of new events to come.)
And as always, we welcome hosting private dining event experiences for up to 200 guests.
Which public dining options are discontinued ?
– Buffet brunch, lunch, and dinner in The Manor Room as well as a la carte dining in our Terrace Lounge.
